   add concentrated sulfuric acid (H2SO4) to sum sugar in an open beaker and watch tis black carbon substance grow out from the beaker. be careful to use gloves, cos the acid can b reli corrosive if u happen to touch the black substance. errm, dun use too much sugar also. mayb less than a quarter of the volume of the beaker would b fine. half is too much
