What do i need to do if i have a new magic trick?

I think i’ve made a new magic trick. What do i need to do now?
I’ve searched the web and i can’t find it.
Do i just get a patent on it?

   go to a popular board game/toy shop then show it.
   they may pay you and then put it in a selection like Best Magic Tricks
   upload it online.
   go to bandai or hasbro..
   and yes do get a patent on it

   You might want to check with a few magicians. Don’t give out the secret, just show or tell them about the effect. Believe it or not, there’s not too many new magic tricks developed, performers just find new ways to do old effects or a new presentation of an old one. For example, Harry Houdini vanished an elephant, magicians today vanish tigers. New presentation / still a vanish. Books are available with over 1000 ways to levitate a lady. Also because magicians find new ways to present old and existing effects, a patent might be difficult. You may want to find a dealer to make and manufacture it for you and make it available specifically for magicians.
