I just purchased a Vidalia Magic Chopper yesterday. I read some reviews online and almost ALL of them were great, there were a few though, that said the the “hinge” broke easily. The lid is attached to a hinge. Anyway, when I took it out of the box, the lid is basically “removable” from the hinge. I tried it out and it worked and everything, but is the lid supposed to be originally glued on to the hinge or something? Because if so, I think I should take it back…. Any insight?

The only way to stop the blending is to pull out the plug, but now the blender is stuck inside the base and I can’t get it out!
